7 Things That Make My Morning Better

7 things that make my morning better ☀️

Mornings don’t need to be complicated. A few simple things can make the start of the day feel calmer, more organized and a little more enjoyable.

1. Waking Up Early ⏰

I love having a little extra time in the morning before the day really begins. Waking up early gives me time to ease into the day rather than feeling like I'm rushing from the moment I get up.

A "Sunrise Alarm" clock can help because it mimics the rising sun and has natural morning sounds, waking you up in a more natural and gentle way.

2. A Morning Run 🏃‍♀️

Getting outside for a morning run is one of my favourite ways to start the day. It isn't always a fast or long run, but it wakes me up, clears my head and gives me some time away from screens before everything else begins.

My AiRunTech running belt is my go-to piece running item, because of the water bottle holders and lots of space to keep my keys and phone and other essentials.

3. A Refreshing Shower 🚿

There's nothing quite like a refreshing shower after a morning run. It's my reset button - a chance to cool down, freshen up and get ready for the rest of the day.

I highly recommend a filtered shower head, to help soften water and filter out impurities, which is great for skin and hair!

4. Simple Skincare Routine ✨

After my shower, I take a few minutes for my morning skincare. I like to keep things simple with products that are quick and easy to use and leave my skin feeling fresh and ready for the day.

I found some simple plug-in LED mirror lights that have really helped with being able to see myself clearly. Plus the light is much nicer than any overhead light!

5. A Great Cup of Coffee

That first cup of coffee is one of my favourite parts of the morning. It's a small ritual, but taking a few minutes to enjoy a good coffee gives me a chance to slow down before starting work.

Personally, I prefer ground coffee rather than instant. So for me a simple French Press is a must.

6. Checking My Morning Agenda📝

Before I start working, I like to know what actually needs to get done. I check my schedule, make a quick list of priorities and work out what needs my attention first.

I prefer planning on paper, rather than on my laptop. It only takes a few minutes, but it helps me start the working day with a clear head.

7. A Comfortable Space to Work in 💻

A tidy, comfortable workspace makes a surprising difference to my day. I don't need everything to be perfectly organized, but I work much better when my desk isn't covered in clutter.

Good lighting, a comfortable setup and having everything I need within reach make it a much nicer place to spend the day.

✅ The Takeaway
My ideal morning isn't about following a perfect routine. It's about a few simple things that make me feel good - getting outside for a run, enjoying a coffee, getting ready, making a plan and starting work in a space I enjoy. Small things, but they make my mornings better.
